Vector File preparation for die-cutting stickers and
decals
In this example
I will use CorelDraw 12 for some texts instead of graphics. Keep in mind
that this is the same procedure when you're working with graphics.
1.
Go ahead and create or type in some texts.

2.
Click on View on your Menu Bar and select Wireframe. Now you're
in wireframe view mode and your texts will look like this below.

3.
Click on the Magnifying glass on the Toolbox on the left of your
workspace. Now click on the text to view it more closer to see
any crossed lines. As you can see below where the arrow pointed,
those are the crossed lines.

4.
Now you are ready to get rid of those crossed lines. Go ahead
and click on the texts to select it. Go to the Menu Bar and
click on Arrange. On the drop down menu, click on Shaping and
then click Weld.

5.
Your final text will look like the above sample. All crossed
lines were welded and your texts or graphics are ready for
cutting. Now you can save it for production.
NOTE:
Some Vector Based Programs have different features
though but same ideas. The main thing here is to get rid of
those crossed lines.
